The “Rum Diaries” actress looked stunning as she made her way inside the Shrine Exposition Center for the swanky SAG ceremony.

Top contenders this time around include “The Help” with four bids for glory while “Modern Family” set the pace for television shows with five SAG nominations.

“The Hunger Games” is one of the biggest movies of the year, and it hasn’t even been released yet! And Jennifer Lawrence took questions from fans during a recent interview with MTV News.

The “Winter’s Bone” babe shared some of her favorite musical acts that are in heavy rotation on her iPod these days.

“I was just listening to Mumford & Sons on the way up here — love Mumford, the Black Keys, Jack White. I’m really looking forward to the musical part of the movie; T-Bone Burnett is producing it, and he’s the best in the world, so I’m really looking forward to that.”

Jennifer also discussed finding balance in her character Katniss- “Let’s see, I think everybody has vulnerability and strength. I think she’s vulnerable anyway, like all of the tributes, because none of them really want to be there. They’re chosen randomly, they’re all forced into the arena. She gathers strength, she has to fight to survive. She’s promised her sister that she would come back, so she replaces her vulnerability with strength.”

She noted that the fire on the chariots came from special effects, rather than actual flames. “Oh, that was fake. I wasn’t actually on fire, thank God. … I think they’ll just add that later, hopefully.”

It’s a gig he knows quite well, and Billy Crystal is excited to be the host of the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

Pictures of the “When Harry Met Sally” actor posing with a massive Oscar statue were released just as the nominees for the 2012 trophies were announced.

As for the hopefuls this time around, the Best Picture nominees include “The Artist,” “The Descendants,” “The Help,” “Hugo,” “Midnight in Paris,” “Moneyball,” “War Horse,” “The Tree of Life,” “and “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.”

In the Best Actor category, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Gary Oldman, and Demian Bichir will do battle.

And Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams, Rooney Mara, and Glenn Close are all in the running for the Best Actress honors.

The 84th Annual Academy Awards will be handed out on February 26th live from the Kodak Theatre.

With less than a week remaining until the crime/thriller makes its way into theaters, the stars of “Man on a Ledge” gathered for their film’s Hollywood premiere on Monday night (January 23).

Held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, leading lady Elizabeth Banks glistened in gold as she posed alongside co-star Sam Worthington, who attended the red carpet screening with girlfriend Crystal Humphries.

Other stars turning up for the west coast screening included cast members such as Genesis Rodriguez, Edward Burns and Ed Harris, as well as director Asger Leth.

During a recent interview, Ms. Banks shared that the plot line of the flick closely mirrors the title, as there is plenty of suspense.

“Really, everything’s in the title. It’s about a man on a ledge, and the people around him who are trying to figure out why he’s on the ledge, and how to get him off the ledge before he falls off and dies.”

Worthington added, “Good action really comes down to the stakes, what’s at stake, whether it’s rescuing the girl, getting the diamonds or whatever. [The main character] is battling for his life in the ultimate extreme, just on a ledge. He’s on the edge on the ledge. Because the stakes are so high, I think that’s why we can label it a thriller, an action thriller.”

The former “Hills” star tweeted an Instagram photo of her hair on Saturday (January 21) while adding a short message reading, “My cotton candy bun J.”

With the help of her hairstylist, Kristin Ess, Miss Conrad has previously dabbled with incorporating color into her beachy blonde ‘do.

Showing some love to his German fans, Nicolas Cage was spotted at a photocall for his new film “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” today (January 23) in Berlin.

The “National Treasure” star showed up at the Hotel de Rome where he posed for pictures and chatted with the press ahead of the film’s premiere.

In a recent interview, Nicolas explained that while the new “Ghost Rider” flick is the second in the franchise, he considers it an independent work.

“I don’t see this as a sequel at all. I see this as Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. The other movie was Ghost Rider. This movie is Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance.”

“Johnny Blaze is in a much different place in this movie. It’s a much edgier, almost cynical interpretation compared to the firstGhost Rider. Because in that movie, Johnny was trying to keep everything at bay, to keep things from erupting.”
Cage added, “I couldn’t get my head around how I was supposed to perceive something like that to be a hero, so I was automatically attracted to that complexity. It’s easy to love Superman, it’s easy to love Captain America, but it’s a challenge to love the Ghost Rider. As I got older that carried on into my dramatic work – I’m always looking for flawed characters who have a pathos and a kind of tragedy to them.”

It’s well-known to be one of her favorite destinations, and Kendall Jenner was back for another weekend visit to the Calabasas Commons in Calabasas, California on Saturday afternoon (January 21).

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cutie was casually clad as she walked her lab pup while joined by a gal pal for the midday shopping excursion.

Continuing to expand her career with a jewelry line in the works and recent debut on the runway, Miss Jenner previously spoke about getting on the catwalk for the first time.

The 16-year-old dished, “[My sisters] said, ‘Be you, have fun with it, be confident.’ Once I got out there, I felt more comfortable.”
