She’s always on the go, and last night (September 7) Alessandra Ambrosio had her hands full with a pair of big events to attend.

The Brazilian supermodel was spotted helping to raise money for Haiti Earthquake Relief at the LakayPAM Awareness event held at Opera Gallery in New York City.

During the shindig, she tweeted, “At the event hearts for haiti by lakaypam!!! Raising money for over 600 kids in haiti!!!!”

Spending the evening at a big awards show soiree, Nicole Scherzinger was among the guests on hand for the Entertainment Weekly and Women In Film Pre-Emmy party in West Hollywood on Friday night (August 27).

Held at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, the “Dancing with the Stars” winner looked pretty in pink as she posed on the arrivals carpet before partaking in the annual events happenings.

The night’s festivities come just as it was announced the Miss Scherzinger has landed a guest spot on “How I Met Your Mother”.

Having worked with the show’s star, Neil Patrick Harris, on his recently produced “Rent” stage show at the Hollywood Bowl, Nicole is said to be playing Robin’s (played by Cobie Smulders) former gal pal Jessica Glitter.

“It’s the origin story of Robin Sparkles,” executive producer Carter Bays told EW. “You see where she came from.”

Nicole Scherzinger: "How I Met Your Mother" Guest Spot

After racking up a pot charge (which was dropped) at the World Cup earlier this summer, Paris Hilton has now been arrested for a possession on cocaine charge in Las Vegas on Friday night (August 27).

With the events taking place outside of the Wynn Hotel, the hotel heiress was the passenger in a car stopped by local police – as the driver,boyfriend Cy Waits, was charged with non-alcohol related DUI.

From there, cops searched Miss Hilton before ending up finding an undisclosed amount of a substance which ended up being cocaine.

Then being booked in jail, Hilton was quickly released on her own recognizance after immediately hiring celebrity Sin City lawyer David Chesnoff – who has defended the likes of David Copperfield, Suge Knight and Vince Neil.

As for the current standing, insiders tell that Paris claims the cocaine was found in a purse which didn’t belong to her – though she and her legal eagle will soon have to convince the judge in believing their story.Photo Credit: Wenn.com

The “House of Wax” babe’s rep released a statement a few hours ago sharing new details about the disturbing incident.

“In the early hours of this morning an armed man with two kitchen knives attempted to break in to Paris Hilton’s home when she was sleeping. The security cameras and alarm system were alerted and the police immediately came to the house and arrested the intruder who was attempting to break a window when they arrived. Paris is naturally shaken by the events but is unharmed and well.”

Carvel issued a statement surrounding the events that happened when Dina Lohan tried to use a Carvel Black Card that wasn’t in her name.

Turns out the card wasn’t Ali’s, but it was Lindsay’s — and the Lohans have been using it without Lindsay around!

Carvel issued the following statement:

“As part of Carvel’s 75th Anniversary celebration last year, we issued 75 Black Cards to celebrities. These cards were issued in the celebrity’s name and require the card holder to be present at the time of use. Many celebrities have enjoyed their cards at our Carvel Ice Cream shoppes and have shared their excitement with being included in the celebration.
“Unfortunately, the Lohan family has been abusing the card. While the card was issued in Lindsay’s name only, her extended family has repeatedly used the card without her present. At first, we graciously honored their requests while explaining that the Black Card was not a carte blanc for unlimited Carvel Ice Cream for the extended Lohan family and friends. After more than six months of numerous and large orders for ice cream, we finally had to cut off the card and take it back.
“Dina Lohan reacted badly and called the police to have her card returned. The police responded and did return the card to Dina with instructions not to use it again.
“This is an unfortunate situation where certain people feel entitled to use a celebrity’s name for their own purposes. We regret that the Lohan family is upset and hope this matter is put behind us quickly.”
