Confirming the anticipated bad news, Andrew Koenig’s parents have identified their son as that of the body found earlier today (February 25) in Vancouver, Canada.

The “Growing Pains” actor’s father, Walter, gave a brief statement from Stanley park, where Andrew’s body was located at 11:30AM, telling, “My son took his own life.”
