Bringing her always-unique style to the red carpet, Katy Perry was among the stars partaking in the 2011 Logie Awards in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday (May 1).

The “Hot N Cold” singer eased through the Crown Palladium entrance while clad in an emerald green dress featuring the backside of a grey and black nude woman running down the center of the interesting frock.

Talking to press covering the Land Down Under celebration, Miss Perry enthusiastically told, “I love being in Australia – I really wanted to play something special tonight. There is always fire wherever I go. We’re gonna light this s**t up!”

She’s still riding the wave of her YouTube success, and last night (April 28) Rebecca Black was spotted at the Inaugural MTV O Music Awards.

The “Friday” songstress dropped by the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas sporting a black top with a silver skirt and black gladiator heels.

Afterwards, Rebecca hosted the O Music Awards Fan Army Party at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino.

Partaking in a night in her honor, Rihanna was toasted at the DKMS 5th Annual Gala: Linked Against Leukemia in New York City on Thursday night (April 28).

The Barbadian singer looked beautiful in black as she was joined by fellow stars including
Leighton Meester and Eva Mendes at the Cipriani Wall Street fete hosted by Katharina Harf.

With RiRi being celebrated during the course of the evening, the 23-year-old was deservedly the guest of honor thanks to her hard-fought effort in searching for relief for those suffering from leukemia.

Earlier today (April 27), Ryan Seacrest made the official announcement on his “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” morning show.

With this, Jason becomes the ninth “Saturday Night Live” cast member to host the summer awards show, following in the footsteps of funnymen like Jimmy Fallon and Andy Samberg.

She’s never one to miss out on a fabulous shindig, and last night (April 26) Jessica Simpson was spotted at the 2011 Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party.

The “Angels” songstress was all smiles as she arrived at Eden in Hollywood, sporting a multi-colored minidress with black heels.

Earlier this week, Jessica and her fiance Eric Johnson returned to the West Coast via LAX International Airport.

Ms. Simpson, who was named Us Weekly’s Style Icon of the Year, shared, “I have the best job in the world! This year, I’ve taken time for myself to enjoy being engaged and in love and being a businesswoman instead of an entertainer. It’s really helped the collection!”

The “For Your Entertainment” singer was decked out in an all-black ensemble with slicked back hair as he grabbed a seat at the Avalon venue alongside former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul.

As for the event, the NewNowNext Awards has a mission of “gathering icons and stars-on-the-rise to crown the next ‘big things’ in TV, music, film, print and new media long before they hit the mainstream.”

It’s one of the biggest events of the year, and the Grammy Awards will have some changes in place as of next year’s shindig.

Probably the biggest transition will be the shift from 109 categories to 78 categories, according to Jimmy Jam and Bill Freimuth.

Rather than have separate Best Vocal awards for male and female, there will just be one award for Best Solo Performance.

Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow explained, “Every year there are changes but we’ve never … stopped and stepped back to look at the whole thing. [We asked], is there an underlying infrastructure and rationale across all the awards as to how we’re doing this? And what we found is, there wasn’t. So we said, ‘All right, let’s deal with the holy grail here. Giving encouragement to anyone going through tough times, Sara Evans sang her hit song “A Little Bit Stronger” at Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

The 40-year-old performer looked fantastic in her slim-fitting leather trousers and black shirt as she took the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

And after she was done, the capacity crowd stood to their feet to show their appreciation for Ms. Evans’ vulnerability.

“A Little Bit Stronger” is featured on Sara’s latest album Stronger, her first collection of new material since her divorce back in 2006-07.

He’s no stranger to massive accolades, and it was another banner evening for Brad Paisley at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards last night (April 3).

The “Mud on the Tires” singer gave a killer performance with Jeff Cook, Randy Owen, and Teddy Gentry onstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Additionally, Paisley was given the Male Vocalist of the Year trophy for all of his hard work and success.

Brad wore an Alabama concert t-shirt along with a pair of distressed jeans and a cowboy hat as he posed with his hardware.
