As her husband undergoes treatment to save his life, Catherine Zeta Jones has voiced her displeasure over the circumstances surrounding Michael’s throat cancer diagnosis.

Talking to People magazine, the “Legend of Zorro” actress tells, “It makes me furious they didn’t detect it earlier. He sought every option and nothing was found.”

With the family patriarch’s life on the line, Catherine is understandably worried about their two children – Dylan, 10, and Carys, 7 – growing up without a dad.

And as Douglas, 65, currently receives radiation and chemotherapy treatment five days-a-week every three weeks, Miss Zeta-Jones is having a difficult time coming to terms with the situation.

“I know maybe I should be stronger, but emotionally I just don’t want to see that,” she said, adding that “the hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired.”Photo Credit: Getty Images

Dealing with a hefty medical challenge, Michael Douglas pushed forth with promotional efforts for “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps” with a “Late Show with David Letterman” appearance on Tuesday (August 31).

Greeting fans as he entered the Ed Sullivan theatre, the 65-year-old actor opened up about his throat cancer diagnosis while telling Letterman that “it hurts a lot.”

Offering up details on the situation, Douglas says that he was informed of the condition – which is labeled as Stage 4 cancer – following a doctor’s appointment for an extremely sore throat.

Having just finished up with the first week of radiation and chemotherapy, Michael admits “that it’s about an eight-week struggle.”

Utilizing drugs to ease the pain, the big screen legend later replied to a comment from Dave about how good he looks, saying, “Let’s just say I’m pretty lit up — I’m pretty lit up right now.”

On a positive note, Michael added that the cancer is yet to spread beneath the neck, which lands him at an eighty percent chance of recovery.

Bringing in names such as Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman and Harry Connick, Jr., a synopsis via The Hollywood Reporter tells, “Dolphin is inspired by the true story of a dolphin named Winter who was rescued off the Florida coast and taken in by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. The movie version centers on a boy who befriends an injured dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap. Through their bond and friendship, the boy motivates everyone around him to help save the dolphin by creating a prosthetic appendage to replace the dolphin’s tail. The marine mammal’s strong survival instincts become an inspiration to people with special needs throughout the world.”

Bringing an end to her time in custody, Lindsay Lohan has been released from the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Following a 22-day stay at the hospital, the “Mean Girls” star headed home on Tuesday (August 24) – as she’ll now be receiving outpatient care for an undetermined amount of time.

According to TMZ, the decision comes after hospital staff encouraged Miss Lohan’s immediate release to Judge Elden Fox – who obviously agreed with the recommendation.

Unfortunately accidents happen and Sofia Vergara’s boyfriend Nick Loeb was involved in a serious car crash on Monday afternoon (August 23).

According to TMZ, the “Modern Family” actress’ beau was rushed to a hospital in Bel Air with a severely broken leg and a deep gash across the chest.

After being taken to the hospital at about 4:30 pm yesterday, the 35-year-old remains in the intensive care unit.

It was a big weekend for Catherine Bell, who gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, on Saturday (August 21).

The “Army Wives” babe was pleased to give her daughter Gemma (7) a little brother and has named her newborn Ronan.

Little Ronan was born at 8:29am and weighed in at a respectable 7lbs. 7oz. He is 19 ¾ inches long and healthy as can be.
