There have been rumors of her apartment-hunting in New York City for some time now, and it’s being said that Jennifer Aniston is reportedly close to sealing the deal on a penthouse in West Village.

According to a real estate insider, the 42-year-old actress has nearly secured a $5.9 million, 1,200 square foot pad.

The “Friends” star will reportedly close on the pricey 18th floor apartment sometime today (April 26) and then close on another spot on the 17th floor later this week.

Jennifer plans to combine the two spaces to create a large duplex, featuring a wrap-around terrace enabling for panoramic views of the Big Apple.

Enjoying the beautiful weather, Katherine Heigl was spotted out at a studio in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (April 18).

Joined by her mother Nancy and a realtor, the “Grey’s Anatomy” gal took a stroll around the area looking at various properties for sale.

As for the recent rumors that she’s planning another adoption to save her marriage, Katherine’s rep says it’s all bogus.

According to the spokesperson, things between Katherine and her hubby Josh Kelley are fine, and if they ever decide to adopt a sibling for their daughter Naleigh, it will be purely out of a desire to expand their family.

Just days after their tax woes went public, Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon have paid off their $1.7 million debt to the IRS.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, a lien was filed on one of the couple’s Los Angeles homes last week (April 4).

Speaking out about the matter, Sharon announced earlier today (April 14) that a payment has been made – although she’s still quite confused over the whole ordeal, telling press, “At 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon I received a phone call from my publicist who had a reporter on the other line informing her that the IRS had just put a lien on one of our properties.”

The “America’s Got Talent” star continued, “I then contacted my accountant who said they knew nothing about any lien. The lien has been paid. I do intend to find out how this lien happened without the knowledge of myself or my accountants. I hope none of this reflects negatively on mine and Ozzy’s moral character.”

They’ve been bestowed as one of the UK’s richest couples, but now Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne face losing one of their California homes after reportedly amassing a tax bill of over $1.7 million.

According to FinancialPlanning.com, the rock ‘n roll couple owe Uncle Sam a reported $718,948 from 2008 and $1.024 million from 2009.

The IRS has placed a lien on their L.A. house, meaning if the “Prince of Darkness” and his manager-wife don’t pay up soon, they’re in grave danger of losing their abode.

He’s certainly accustomed to frequent travels, and Brad Pitt was spotted prepping for an outbound flight at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon (February 23).

The “Megamind” hunk was decked out in an all-black ensemble complete with his penchant newsboy cap as he shuffled through the metro terminal en route to a departing aircraft.

Pitt’s jet-setting sighting comes amidst reports telling that he’s in the midst of building an apartment on the grounds of his French property for his parents, Bill and Jane.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “The whole family is going to move there as soon as the renovations are done. At the moment they have six nannies – one for each of the kids – and the plan is to get rid of the helpers and rely on Bill and Jane.”

No word yet on if the couple has plans to move in together, but by the looks of it they’re getting quite serious.

He’s worth millions so it’s no wonder that Tiger Woods would have a house to show it.

While the pro golfer has been busy traveling on his PGA tour, his new Jupiter Island, Florida estate in nearly ready.

Of the property that has taken nearly 4.5 years to build, real estate agent Jeff Lichtenstein said, “Tiger built this house on more than four lots and has made the surrounding property into a mini Olympic Village. It is a property he developed for his own personal use, which also serves as a training facility.”

“Tiger virtually built himself his version of a YMCA or world class fitness center,” Lichtenstein told People. “His home is not backed up to the water as are most on Jupiter Island because of the golf course.”

Looking to sell off her daughter’s former mansion before it goes to auction, Sharon Murphy is in the process of trying to find a buyer for late actress Brittany Murphy’s Hollywood Hills home.

The abode currently has a first mortgage of just over $4 million, and second mortgage for about $500,000, while lined up to be auctioned today – but that has been delayed until February 14th at the bank’s request.

The house had previously been put on the market in March 2010 – shortly after Brittany died – with an asking price of $7.5 million, but was taken off the market a month later.

Spokesman Roger Neal said that Murphy has been quietly working with a lawyer and realtor to find new buyers and added that it is a regular sale, not a short sale, and that it is hoped to be done in normal fashion.
