In honor of Gossip Girl author Cecily von Ziegesar’s series It Girl, each week we celebrate the women who are making headlines. This week, family matters! Check out the ladies who are making news!

  • Beyoncé – Back in the day, Jay-Z put a ring on it and Ms. Knowles said yes! Then the two decided to build their fam. Enter, Baby Blue! Blue Ivy arrived this week and we couldn’t be more happy for the three of them. Can’t wait to see the fabulous way B is going to raise her precious new addition!
  • Khloe Kardashian – When rumors broke out that Khloe was not fathered by Robert Kardashian, the dad of the other Kardashian clan members, she didn’t pout or succumb to the gossip. While she’s already taken a DNA test in 2009 to make sure she wasn’t adopted, she’s decided not to take another one to see if her DNA matches that of her sisters. Here’s a thought: being a Kardashian isn’t just about the genes… it’s about how much you rock in those jeans ;)
  • Sienna Miller – The latest celeb rumored to be pregnant is Sienna, who is reportedly having her first baby with bf Tom Sturridge. The gorgeous S will make a beautiful mom-to-be, and we bet her baby will be just as pretty!

‘Tis the season for some serious Photoshopping, darlings! At least in the Kardashian household, who debuted their LOLZy new holiday card that is every bit as ridiculous and nouveau riche as you might imagine. While their goal was no doubt “glitz and glamour” the entire thing reeks of trying too hard, from poor pathetic Kim standing solo between coupled up Kourtney and Khloe, to Rob the Forgotten Son, stuck on the end, not even allowed to make eye contact with the rest of the clan.

Would you be proud to send out such a holiday card? Or is a Kardashian Kristmas utterly embarassing?

In the age of pin curls and pearls, the It Girls of the 1930s wondered what fashion might look like far, far into the future–the year 2000. Check out this fabulous vintage vid of what designers predicted today’s modern woman might be wearing. I’d like to laugh at their space-age designs, but from the Gaga-esque heels to the Khloe Kardashian-style jumpsuits, were these retro stylists fashion fortune-tellers?

Looks like money and fame doesn’t buy you originality. I hear that Sears yanked the Kardashian’s new $94 leopard purse line off the shelf after designer Monica Botkier pointed out that it looked suspiciously similar to her Clyde design. Take a peek at the dueling handbags and tell me if Kim, Kourt and Khloe need to go back to fashion school–or at least look up the word “plagiarism”…

Which celeb is the foxiest in her flower-child style? Or is this one look that should have stayed in the 60s?

There was no quibbling about the awfulness of Khloe Kardashian’s latest look, but I’m on the fence about Kim’s red carpet style at the World’s Most Beautiful Magazine launch at Drai’s in Hollywood. Maybe it’s her ho-hum LBD or slouchy slumpy posture, but our little Kimmy doesn’t seem to be hitting the mark this time. Does KK’s look seem off to you?

From the high waist to the clunky heels to the hip-expanding cut, I’m almost impressed at how much ugly Khloe Kardashian managed to pack into one simple little style. But, what else could we expect from an MC Hammer-inspired magenta silk jumpsuit? Since Khlo decided to dress up as a genie during her shopping spree in Beverly Hills, let’s grant her unspoken wish and help fix this outfit. What tweaks would you make to take this look from unwearable to unbelievable?
