Instead, the part went to theater veteran Samantha Barks, who beat out Lea Michele, Evan Rachel Wood (she can sing?) and Scarlett Johansson for the role. With autumn just around the corner Scarlett Johansson seems to be getting in touch with her inner jack-o-lantern a few weeks ahead of schedule at the Disney D23 Expo in Southern California.
