Bringing an end to the holiday weekend tennis action, center court featured the men’s singles match between Roger Federer of Switzerland and Jurgen Melzer of Austria at the 2010 U.S. Open in New York City on Monday (September 6).

Held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, stars such as Cameron Diaz, Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale all turned up to catch the match.

Known to be good friends of Federer, Stefani and Rossdale took seats in the superstar’s personal box while the other stars found primo spots to take in the nighttime court happenings.
